DIA was born back in the 70’s and is a part of a bigger and much older family owned business started in 1952 by the Singh family. The foundations were laid by Mr. Balbir Singh & Gurcharan Kaur who named the mother company ‘’G.K Exports’’.Since the 50’s the company was a major player in textile industry due to their own dyeing and manufacturing facilities in the state of Punjab, which later in the moved to the heart of India - New Delhi.

Harmeet Singh the current CEO of Dansk Indisk Agent is the son of late Balbir Singh & Gurcharan Kaur and is also the man behind the vision and the birth of DANSK INDISK AGENT.His vast knowledge within manufacturing industry and his network within the Scandinavian fashion industry led him to start this company as he realized that there was no other company like this that could fulfil the need of private label manufacturing while understanding both sides of the world.Since 70’s the company has provided services to some of the biggest brands and designers from around the globe like Nørgaard, Dansk Super Marked, Magasin, Stockmann, British Homestores, Mothercare, MICHA, KSK Fashion, WHEAT, HB Tekstil, Sandaard A/S, Denasia ApS and more.

Now the company is lead by the 3rd generation family members namely Arjun Singh & Saurav Singh who are the sons of legendary Harmeet Singh. DANSK INDISK AGENT specialises in helping brand oursouce their choice of products from vast product categories which is possible due to over 70 years of presence in the industry.
